The City of Hillsboro
Hillsboro, TX located approximately one hour south of Dallas, TX on the Y-split where I-35 splits into two highways (one leading to Dallas, one leading to Fort Worth) is a charming small central texas town. The town boasts a local coutny college, outlet shopping, and a beautifully restored courthouse where city and county affairs are conducted. Hillsboro, TX is the capital of Hill county and had a population of 8,232 in 2000.

Ameritube's Facility
Ameritube is located at 1000 N. Hwy 77 in Hillsboro, TX. The facility has a thirty year history of producing copper and copper alloy tubing in a variety of sizes and lengths. Prior to Ameritube, the facility performed casting, extrusion, drawing, straightening, annealing, testing, and finning operations. The plant's main production was of copper tube for the water, refrigeration, HVAC, and industrial heat exchanger industry. The plant capacity at that time was 500 tons per month. The company had long standing contracts with Carrier, Lennox, and Trane Corporations.
The facility was owned by the original owner of the Texas Rangers at one time in conjunction with five other plants, one of which produced small coiled tubing and was located across the street. Ameritube hopes to use the facility, its previous successes, and its impact on the community and build on that to create a lasting American business for the stakeholders of Ameritube and the people of the City of Hillsboro.
